Wilmington Police arrest three male juveniles, recover stolen motor vehicle:
Wilmington Police have arrested three male juveniles and recovered a stolen motor vehicle.
On July 17, at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 900 block of North Church Street, when they observed a stolen motor vehicle. Police attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop, at which time the vehicle fled the area. A short time later, the vehicle was located in the 200 block of Channel Road, at which time three male subjects fled from the vehicle on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, police took a 16-year-old male juvenile, 17-year-old male juvenile, and a 14-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
The 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses in addition to an outstanding warrant:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
The 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
