Special Weather Statement until 09:00PM

At 829 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of San Jon to 16 miles west of Ramon. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, Quay, Logan, San Jon, House, Ragland, Yeso, Ramon, and Ute Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 314 and 372. Highway 285 between Mile Markers 162 and 196. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 282 and 334. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 100 and 105.
