Officers responded to the area on a report of an armed subject. Responding officers arrested the suspect and recovered a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Marcello Lester, 31, for weapon charges.
2. Person Shot (2328) Sierra Nevada Street and Oak Street, Park District
The male victim, 25, was driving in the area of the call location where he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
3. Shooting into a Dwelling (0014) 1900 Block of South Lincoln, Seaport District
The female victim, 44, reported the suspect shot her residence. No one was injured in the shooting. Officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody. Officers also found a loaded firearm on the suspect. ARRESTED: Juan Ramirez, 42, for weapon charges and negligent discharge of a firearm.
