On July 20, 2024, at approximately 8:55 p.m., Fremont PD Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Lake Arrowhead Avenue and Alvardo Road. Officers arrived on scene and found an adult female who had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts, the female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Preliminary information suggests the victim and suspect were known to each other.
The Fremont Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit responded to take over the investigation. We are currently pursuing investigative leads, and this remains an active investigation.
