Wilmington Police arrest three male juveniles, recover stolen motor vehicle:
Wilmington Police have arrested three male juveniles and recovered a stolen motor vehicle.
On July 17, at approximately 9:56 p.m., police responded to the 900 block of East 17th Street, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop, at which time three subjects fled from the vehicle on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, police took a 16-year-old male juvenile, a 15-year-old male juvenile, and a 12-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident. The 16-year-old male juvenile was found to be in possession of a loaded .40 caliber handgun.
The 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
The 15-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
The 12-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
