Special Weather Statement until 10:00PM
Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms are expected to move northward this afternoon towards the Lehigh Valley, southern Poconos, and northern New Jersey. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour are possible in the strongest storms, potentially resulting in some localized flash flooding. Weaker storms will still have the capability of producing minor urban and poor drainage flooding. Allow extra time for travel this evening and if you encounter flooded roadways, turn around, don't drown!
