North Hudson Sewerage Authority will excavate test pits between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, through Friday, July 26, at Newark and Jefferson Streets for future sewer replacement work. Newark Street between Madison Street and Adams Street will be closed during work hours. Vehicles traveling eastbound on Newark Street will be detoured onto Madison Street, and westbound will be detoured onto Adams Street, while trucks will be detoured onto Clinton Street. Drivers should leave extra travel time and use northern routes to and from Hoboken.
COVID-19 vaccine clinic appointments available
The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Division of Health are partnering with the Hudson Regional Health Commission to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday, July 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St., second floor.

Donate school supplies
The Office of Constituent Services has partnered with non-profit FamilyHood to collect school supplies for residents in need.
Donations of crayons, pencils, pens, markers, folders, backpacks, binders, glue, notebooks, and highlighters can be dropped off at Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington St. between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Aug. 15.
