Hey Petaluma!

Wonder what’s going on in your neighborhood? Have a question or concern you’d like us to address? Curious about what we’ve been up to? We’ve got just the thing. The Petaluma Police Department is proud to reintroduce our District Policing model and to announce the launch of our new District Newsletters.

So…how does it work? Good question! A District Policing model allows us to better serve and engage with our community on an individual level by breaking up Petaluma into 15 smaller neighborhoods that we refer to as “Districts”. Each District is then assigned dedicated Officers who are specialists in your neighborhood and who are available to answer your questions, address your concerns, provide safety resources, and ultimately act as a liaison between the Department and the District.

While we are always out and about in Petaluma, we recognize that no one knows their District quite like the people who actually live there…and that’s why we want to hear from you.
