The male employee, 62, observed the suspect shoplifting from the area business. The suspect assaulted the victim and broke the front door before leaving. SUSPECT: Black male in his thirties.
2. Weapon Arrest (1300) Stanislaus Street and Miner Street, Civic District
Officers investigated a traffic collision when the driver became uncooperative and attempted to walk away. Officers detained the suspect and found a loaded handgun in the vehicle. ARRESTED: Vaquan Jefferson, 28, for weapon violations.
