Detective Kyle Gibson charged 40-year-old Jeremy Daniel Hensley with felony Larceny. Hensley received a received a written promise.
On October 26, 2023, a local business reported the theft of two chainsaws valued at $1,400 from a company truck while parked at a local convenience store. An investigation led to Hensley and Det. Gibson was able to recover one of the stolen chainsaws.
Hensley has been in the custody of the NC Department of Adult Corrections since shortly after the reported theft. He was released from their custody on July17th and served with the new charges.
