Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s assistance in identifying the below-pictured suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, July 8, 2024.
At approximately 12:50 a.m., three men walking in the 200 block of Sherman Avenue were approached and surrounded by a group of six males who robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects then fled on foot, heading west on East Runyon Street.
Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspect who brandished a handgun as wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and a black ski mask.
