Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with a package theft that occurred on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
A victim reported that two Amazon packages delivered to a residence at N. Munn Avenue near Tremont Avenue were stolen by the suspect at approximately 6 a.m. The suspect fled in a silver 4-door vehicle headed south on N. Munn Avenue towards South Orange Avenue. He is described as a Black male with a slim build and braided hair, wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and white, black, and teal sneakers.
