Flood Warning until 02:12AM Thursday

...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... West Nueces River At Brackettville affecting Uvalde and Kinney Counties. Nueces River At Laguna affecting Uvalde County. Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding with livestock cut off and equipment destroyed in lowest areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges are dangerous to auto traffic above Barksdale to below Carrizo Springs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 0.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 4.4 feet late this evening. It will then fall to 3.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will rise above flood stage late tonight to 13.2 feet late tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet on 04/26/1990. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
