Arrest Made in July 2024 Homicide Case
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) has arrested Dominic Gates in connection with the homicide of Alliauna Green (Tan DaGod), which occurred on July 13, 2024, in the 4000 block of Telegraph Avenue.
The Alameda County District Attorney's Office has filed charges against Gates for his involvement in the crime.
Background:
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on July 13, 2024, in the 4000 block of Telegraph Avenue, at 5:00 PM. When officers arrived, they located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound(s). Paramedic personnel responded to the scene to assist and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. A short time later, the OPD was notified of a gunshot wound(s) victim who arrived at an area hospital. The victim was listed in stable condition.
