2023 Surface Improvements - Restricted Travel Access - July 29th through August 2nd
How Will I Be Affected? This work requires roads to have restricted travel access for an 8-hour period. The restricted travel will be governed by either a street closure or a pilot car with reversing controls not to exceed 10 minutes. If your driveway is on a road listed for treatment, you will need to plan for having limited access to your driveway during the performance of this work.
What Do I Need to Do to Prepare?
•Expect delays while traveling through the construction zone.
•The Arterial and Collector roads will be passable under controlled traffic- reversing control with a pilot car.
•Residential streets will be closed for a 6–8-hour period once the Micro Surfacing is placed.
•If you are accessing the road in the middle of controlled traffic, please wait for the pilot car to pass to determine the traffic flow direction.
On the Day of Your Street Maintenance
-Please note that walking and biking on the sealed street will not be possible while emulsion is wet.
-A successful street maintenance program relies on your cooperation. Please note the following:
•On your regularly scheduled garbage collection day, please put your carts out early or the night before; no service impact is anticipated.
•Emergency vehicles will always have full access to these roads.
