Flood Advisory until 08:45PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 643 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated areas of light to occasionally moderate rain due to showers. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in parts of the advisory area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen in some of these areas. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible over parts of the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding, especially for those spots that received heavier rainfall today. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Conroe, Tomball, Willis, Brookshire, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Hockley, Oak Ridge North, Panorama Village, Shenandoah, Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, Stagecoach, Pattison, North Cleveland, Woodloch, The Woodlands Pavillion, Hooks Airport, Chateau Woods and Cypress. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
