* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following counties, Macomb, Oakland and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier this afternoon which already caused some areas of flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in additional areas of flooding as well as worsen any ongoing flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Warren, Troy, Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Sterling Heights, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Clinton, Detroit Zoo, Dearborn Heights, Roseville, Eastpointe, Madison Heights, Oak Park and Hamtramck. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
