* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Fort Bend, Galveston Island, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland Harris, Inland Matagorda, Matagorda Islands, Northern Liberty, Southern Liberty and Wharton.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris still present from Hurricane Beryl.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The continued presence of a stationary front and upper level trough, along with deep Gulf moisture, will support the potential for heavy rainfall through tomorrow afternoon. The main rainfall threat window will begin tomorrow morning. Rainfall totals of 3-6" are expected along the immediate coast, with 2-4" totals expected along the I-10 corridor. The flood threat will be exacerbated by significant antecedent rainfall over the past 72 hours. Some locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
