* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Alamance County in central North Carolina... Central Guilford County in central North Carolina... Northwestern Orange County in central North Carolina...

* Until 245 AM EDT.

* At 1143 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Greensboro, High Point, Burlington, Graham, Mebane, McLeansville, Elon, Gibsonville, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Haw River, Swepsonville, Alamance, Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina, Lake Mackintosh Marina, Forest Oaks, Glen Raven, Altamahaw-Ossipee, Lake Burlington and Saxapahaw.
