The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) has started milling and paving on Post Road, from Granville St to Eliot Place.

Schedule:

• Nightly, excluding Saturday nights.
• Milling/Paving: 7 PM to 5 AM
• No Parking: 6 PM to 6 AM - Vehicles parked in violation will be towed at the owner's expense.

Sequence of Work: Milling/Paving will be sequenced into the following sections of roadway. Contractors will complete one section each night. Milling will be completed along the entire length of the roadway prior to paving. 

• Granville St to Ruane Street
• Old Post Road to the area of the Brick Walk
• Brick Walk to Eliot Place

Use Caution:

• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
• Road surfaces will be uneven and rough.
• Paving will follow the same sectioning/sequencing as milling.

Businesses Remain Open! 

Businesses remain open during this period! Please utilize alternate parking available behind many businesses, at the Sherman Green, and at the Fairfield Train Station.
