Deputy James Day charged 34-year-old Anthony Eugene Peters of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was given a written promise to appear in court.
On July 23rd, Deputy Day stopped a vehicle driven by Peters for an expired tag. Marion Police Department assisted in the stop and a K9 alerted on the car for the presence of narcotics. A search of the car turned up four grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
