As a reminder, Hudson County will continue paving operations next week on Park Avenue from Observer Highway in Hoboken to 19th Street in Weehawken.
Paving is scheduled to begin at Observer Highway on Monday, July 29, and move northbound along Park Avenue on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Intermittent and roving road closures and parking restrictions are expected.
The North Hudson Sewerage Authority will also excavate test pits on Observer Highway and restore trenching on Newark Street on Tuesday, July 30, through Thursday, Aug. 1, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for future sewer work.
Observer Highway between Henderson Street and Grove Street will be closed during work hours. Eastbound traffic will detour at Madison Street. Westbound truck traffic will detour at Washington Street. All other westbound traffic will detour at Henderson Street.
Drivers should leave extra travel time and use northern routes to and from Hoboken.
Hoboken Police officers will be positioned in construction work areas to assist with detours, traffic control, and pedestrian safety.
