Details: On July 27, 2024 at 1:47 PM, APD officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Amarillo Boulevard in the west alley reference a male that had possibly been stabbed. Benny Rubio, male age 44, was pronounced deceased by AMS. Next of kin has been notified. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit is currently investigating this incident.
