IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Marana, Three Points, Avra Valley, Saguaro National Park West, Tucson Estates, Tucson Mountain Park, Valencia West, Picture Rocks and Ryan AirField. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Manville Rd at Brawley Wash and Twin Peaks Rd between Sanders and Sandario. This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 150 and 162. Route 286 near mile marker 45. This includes the following streams and drainages... Brawley Wash, Blanco Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Santa Cruz River, Cocio Wash and Aguirre Wash.

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
