SCAM Advisory, just hang up 
We have received numerous phone calls from locals concerning a telephone scam. The caller identifies themselves as a Cannon Beach Police Officer and claims they need to send you documents or that there is an arrest warrant in your name. They might also mention using a web browser to verify your identity.
If you receive a call like this, just hang up. We DO NOT call to advise of warrants, nor do we take payments to clear a warrant.
