PC30305(A)(1): FELON IN POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION
LOCATION: High Road/ Desert View Road, Lucerne Valley
SUSPECT: Kevin Gesson, 48 years of age, resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 10:36 p.m., Deputies J. Guzman and O. Cordova conducted a traffic stop on a 1988 Chevrolet truck for California Vehicle Code violations. The driver, Kevin Gesson, was driving on a dirt road with no headlights and the vehicle had no rear license plate.
During a search of the vehicle, a loaded firearm and three boxes of ammunition were located under the driver's seat. Kevin Gesson, who is a convicted felon, was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
