Flash Flood Warning until 03:00AM Tuesday

FFWILN The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Union County in east central Indiana... Wayne County in east central Indiana... Northern Preble County in west central Ohio...

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 1058 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Richmond, Eaton, Centerville, Cambridge City, Hagerstown, New Paris, West Alexandria, Dublin, Franklin, Abington, Milton, Greens Fork, East Germantown, Spring Grove, Boston, Mount Auburn, Interstate 70 at Exit 145, Richmond Municipal Airport, Witts Station and Philomath.

* AFFECTED AREAS: UNION, IN ... WAYNE, IN ... PREBLE, OH
