Citizens from Sonora can still dispose of large items at our yard located at 303 W. 1st.  Items will need to be placed inside the large blue containers. Please call City Hall at 325-387-2558 for assistance.

Community Notice: Temporary Closure of Tree, Brush, and Leaves Collection Area

Dear Citizens of Sonora,

Please be advised that the City of Sonora's tree, brush, and leaves collection area, located at the old landfill, will be closed until Friday. We kindly ask all residents to refrain from depositing any unwanted limbs, trees, or leaves in this area during this period.

City employees are working diligently to clean up the area. For any questions or concerns, please contact City Hall at 325-387-2558
