For Immediate Release
Maple Shade Police were dispatched to the Collins Lane Dog Park located at 57 Collins Lane in Maple Shade, New Jersey on Tuesday July 30, 2024 at 6:25pm. Police were advised that a male subject was standing along a foot path in visual observation of 2 teenage juveniles who were in the park. The male subject had his pants pulled down exposing his intimate parts and was performing a sex act upon himself. He motioned to one of the juveniles to keep quiet using a hand gesture. Upon observing this, the juveniles attempted to leave the area and the male subject began to follow them. Uncertain as to their best course of action due to their proximity in the park, they returned to the gazebo area and the male subject started to pleasure himself again. The Maple Shade Police were eventually called and the subject was arrested on scene.
Further investigation revealed the subject had been lingering in the area engaging in conversation with at least one other juvenile and an adult female along the Main Street area earlier in the day. If anyone else was in the area of these locations and encountered this subject in the manner described above, you are asked to call the Maple Shade Police at #856-234-8300.
