Community Advisory-Vehicle Tire Theft Trend-Report Suspicious Activity

Between July 28th -31st local agencies, both Petaluma Police Department and Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety have received several reports of tire theft within their city limits. Victims reported that their vehicles were propped up on concrete landscape blocks and the tires stolen. Currently 2014-2024 Toyota Camry/Corollas and 2020-2024 Honda Civic and Accords have been the vehicles targeted.
We encourage the community to report in progress suspicious activity to 911. If you have any information that maybe helpful to this case, please call our mainline -707-584-2600. In addition, vehicle owners can protect their property by investing in lug nut locks that can prevent tire theft.
