Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 7:30am-5pm
 
 
The City of Somersworth Water Division will be turning off the water mains in your area on this Thursday, August 1^st, 2024 at 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM. This is a water line shut-down for the Elm Street development project.
 
This shut-down is expected to affect properties on Green Street from Washington Street to Franklin Street.; Washington Street properties will be affected as well.  During this time, you will experience little or no water pressure.
 
Green Street will be closed between Washington Street and Franklin Street during this time; detour signs will be in place.  Seek alternate routes.
 
Once water is turned back on, you may experience air or some water discoloration. This discoloration is from naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water.
