National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW.) The event is designed to:

• Heighten crime prevention and drug prevention awareness.
• Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs.
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-cooperation.

Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighbors are organized and have ownership of their neighborhoods.
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods celebrate' NNO with a variety of events and activities such as:

• Block parties.
• Cookouts and potlucks
• Visits from Police, Fire and City officials Crime Prevention Programs

National Night Out is our chance to celebrate community by welcoming new neighbors, reconnecting with friends and fostering better relationships with local police and first responders.
