M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s County, announces the cancellation of most outdoor programming from noon to 7:00 pm on August 1 due to the heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service; see exceptions below. The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to stay cool and hydrated. The following events will take place as scheduled with additional safety protocols in place:

• Concerts at Cosca Regional Park (11000 Thrift Road, Clinton, MD 20735) at 6:00 pm
• Concerts in the Parks at Watkins Regional Park (301 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774) at 7:00 pm
• Movie night with the Prince George’s County Police Department and The Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Prince George’s County Division at Fairwood Park (12390 Fairwood Pkwy, Bowie, MD 20720) will begin at 7:00 pm.
