INCIDENT: Felony Warrant Arrest for CVC 10851(A) - Grand Theft Auto
LOCATION: Market Street and W. Broadway Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Ruben Medrano, 51 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at approximately 6:22 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department made contact with Ruben Medrano during a pedestrian stop near Market Street and W Broadway Street. During the stop, Medrano was found to have a felony warrant out for his arrest for CVC 10851(A) - Grand Theft Auto.
Medrano was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Medrano remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
