Police Seek Help Locating Missing 61-Year-Old Newark Woman Suffering from Schizophrenia
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Bernetta Crawford, 61, who was reported missing on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Ms. Crawford, who suffers from schizophrenia, was last seen at 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Ballantine Parkway. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black tights, and blue sneakers. Ms. Crawford walks with a three-pronged black cane and has a slight hunch in her back.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Bernetta Crawford to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
