Important Info Re Tax & Sewer Bills Due 8/1: Sewer Bill Grace Period Ends 8/12; Property Tax Grace Period Extended to 8/27
Important Information – Please Read: Tax & Sewer Bill Due August 1, Mailing Delayed
A note from the City of Asbury Park’s Tax Collection Department:
The mailing of tax bills due August 1, 2024, which would include the 3rd and 4th quarter payments for 2024 and the 1st and 2nd quarter payments for 2025, has been delayed. The City’s certified tax rate was not received in time to meet the statutory mailing deadline. Tax bills are being mailed today and the grace period for 3rd quarter will be extended to August 27, 2024.
Sewer bills were mailed July 18, 2024, and have a grace period to August 12, 2024. No further extension will be provided. Please note that failure to receive a bill does not exempt you from paying taxes or sewer bill. If you are having problems with receiving your bills, please notify your local Post Office.
Payments can be made in-person Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm at the Tax & Sewer Collections Office located at 1 Municipal Plaza. There is also an after-hours drop box to the left of the main entrance.
