Hoboken residents are reminded that Hudson County will close Park Avenue from 15th Street in Hoboken to 19th Street in Weehawken for paving and striping tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 5, from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This closure will include the Park Avenue Bridge which spans over Harbor Boulevard from 16th Street to 19th Street connecting Park Avenue in Hoboken to John F. Kennedy Boulevard East in Weehawken.
Detours will be in place and Willow Avenue will be open in both directions as an alternate route. Hoboken Police will be onsite to assist with detours, traffic control, and pedestrian safety. Drivers should leave extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
Park Avenue will also be closed at First Street in the afternoon hours, for paving and striping.
