August 2, 2024:

• Officer Bean made contact with a subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 52-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Morse responded to the 1200 block of Laurel Lane for a personal welfare check. A 13-year-old female was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Fourth Street for a personal welfare check. A 48-year-old female received citations for possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license. She was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers responded to the 700 block of Fifth Street for a disorderly subject. A 31-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Sergeant Thoresen attempted to conduct a traffic stop near West Michigan Avenue and North West Avenue, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The driver has been identified, and charges will be sought on the 19-year-old male for fleeing and eluding, and felonious assault on a police officer.  
• Officers were dispatched to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Louis Glick Highway for a vehicle stuck on the train tracks. The 32-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Panther made contact with a subject near West Michigan Avenue and West Louis Glick Highway. The 28-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and a parole violation.
• Officers responded to the 400 block of West Morrell Street for disorderly subjects. A 27-year-old female was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations; a 24-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation; and a 20-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.

• Officer Reynaga was dispatched to the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a domestic dispute. A 29-year-old female was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
• Sergeant Thoresen made contact with a subject near Steward Avenue and Van Buren Street. The 49-year-old male subject was transported to the hospital. After receiving medical clearance, he will be lodged at JSO for possession of stolen property; conditional bond violation; and resisting and obstructing.
• Officer Brooks responded to the 200 block of West Morrell Street for a subject shoplifting. A 43-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Wisner Street for a disorderly subject. A 35-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers responded to the 200 block of West Franklin Street for a disorderly subject. A 34-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Soloman made contact with a subject in the 100 block of East Washington Avenue. A 21-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop at North Mechanic Street and East Michigan Avenue. The 22-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 2^nd offense.
• Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Quarry Street. An 18-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officers responded to the 500 block of West Trail Street for subjects arguing. A 22-year-old male was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations.
• Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East High Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.

• Officers responded to the hospital for a subject who had been shot near Rockwell Street and Woodbridge Street. A possible suspect has been identified; the investigation is ongoing.
• Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Lansing Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 32-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Reynaga conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Whitney Street. The 45-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Maple Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 28-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault; assaulting a police officer; resisting and obstructing; and multiple parole violations.
• Officers responded to a personal welfare check in the 1000 block of Adrian Avenue. A 66-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 44-year-old male was arrested for felonious domestic assault; unlawful imprisonment; furnishing false information to a police officer; and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers responded to South Jackson Street and West Cortland Street for disorderly subjects. A 45-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
• Sergeant Thoresen made contact with subjects in the 900 block of Detroit Street. A 15-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
