Odor of gas in the area of Whittier & Essex. No current danger. GPP GPS, GPP DPW, and DTE are aware, actively correcting problem. 
GPP DPS is currently aware of the odor of gas eminating from the area of Essex and Whittier. GPP DPS, GPP DPW & DTE are on scene. DTE has determined the odor is non-flamable. DPW is actively working to correct the issue. DPW advises if odor is inside your home to open the windows and to pour water into your floor drains. If smell still presists repeat pouring water into your floor drains. If odor remains after two cycles of pouring water into your drains, contact GPP DPW We greatly appreciate DTE and GPP DPW's quick response.
