At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Yorkville to near Peotone. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Joliet, Romeoville, Plainfield, Lockport, New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort, Channahon, Minooka, Peotone, Crest Hill, Shorewood, Manhattan, Monee, Beecher, Ingalls Park, Elwood, Preston Heights, Fairmont, Rockdale, Crystal Lawns, Plattville, Wilton Center, and Symerton.
