* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Anson, Chatham, Davidson, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Halifax, Montgomery, Orange, Person, Randolph, Stanly, Vance and Warren.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving Tropical Cyclone Debby will result in a prolonged period of rain, heavy at times, Wednesday through Friday. Rainfall amounts ranging from 5 to 8 inches are possible across the western Piedmont by Friday night, with locally higher amounts possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
