What: Congressman Mike Garcia will honor two heroic members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station. Sergeant Collin Reddy and Deputy Jeremiah Nurse will receive an award recognizing their extraordinary bravery and unwavering dedication to the citizens of Los Angeles County. Their remarkable acts of valor were demonstrated when they pulled a man from a burning vehicle without regard for their safety. This dramatic incident occurred at approximately 2:36 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at the intersection of 15th Street West and Avenue J-10, Lancaster.

The award recipients will be available for interviews.
