National Night Out Moved To Tuesday Aug 13th
Tonight's National Night Out event is being moved to next Tuesday, August 13th due to the weather forecasted for this evening. This is one of the largest Township events annually; for the first time in 30 years, it is being moved to a different date. Mayor Charlie Carley said, “This is a night we look forward to each year. It will be a great night, we just have to wait an extra week.”
The event is being moved out of safety concerns for our residents and staff working the event. The weather forecast is calling for strong thunderstorms this evening. Last year the celebration was rated as one of the top gatherings in the nation for National Night Out celebrations.
