Rain Tonight - Tropical Storm Debby to possibly dump up to 6 inches of rain on Aberdeen Saturday
Good Morning, there is a lot of rain headed our way over the next 5 days and we just wanted to give you a heads up. Tonight (Tuesday), we are expecting 2 inches of rain in our area. It's generally lower tide during the afternoon but the rain will continue through the evening. High tide is at 10pm.
Rain continues daily through the week in anticipation for Tropical Storm Debby's arrival. Below is a picture of the consensus of what Saturday afternoon will look like. Every major model right now brings her right through New Jersey on Saturday. Tropical Storm Debby has the possibility of dumping up to 6 inches of rain on us here in Aberdeen. The most important thing we can do to curb unnecessary flooding is clear the drains outside our homes. Make sure any leaves or debris are removed. You should also tie down any deck furniture or anything that would move due to high winds.
We will continue to monitor this storm as it gets closer but please prepare for an excessive amount of rain.
