Detectives in Chino Hills Identify and Arrest Suspect who Stole Thousands of Dollars in Merchandise

SUSPECT(S): Timyan Exequiel Mujica, a 19-year-old resident of Granada Hills
VICTIM(S): LensCrafters
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 12, 2024, two suspects entered LensCrafters at 13855 City Center Drive in Chino Hills and stole $4600 worth of merchandise. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the suspects returned and stole $4300 worth of merchandise. Deputies and detectives gathered investigative leads.
On Wednesday, August 1, 2024, Chino Hills detectives and the Multiple Enforcement Team found the suspect vehicle parked in Granada Hills in Los Angeles County. They witnessed one of the suspects, Timyan Exequiel Mujica, enter the car. Mujica was arrested during a traffic stop and later booked into the West Valley Detention Center for commercial burglary and grand theft.
Investigators are continuing the investigation to identify and arrest other involved suspects.
