Flood Advisory until 07:45PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following county, Bergen and southeast New York, including the following counties, Bronx, Nassau, New York (Manhattan) and Westchester.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Rochelle, Mott Haven, East Tremont, Hackensack, Glen Cove, Rye, Ridgefield, Great Neck, Throgs Neck Bridge, Harlem, Riverdale, Co-op City, Fort Lee, Englewood, Port Washington, Bronxville, City Island, Sands Point, Teterboro and Mount Vernon. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
