Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring with several road closures already being reported. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Long Branch, Asbury Park, Tinton Falls, Red Bank, Elberon, Allenwood, Eatontown, West Long Branch, Rumson, Little Silver, Oceanport and Neptune City. This includes the following highways... Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 33 and 34. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 98 and 107.
