* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas including the Coastal Prairies, I-35 Corridor, and parts of the northern Hill Country.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
