INCIDENT: PC 496D(A): POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE
LOCATION: Buckwheat Road/ Phelan Road, Pinon Hills
SUSPECT: Lori Ballard, 60-years-old, resident of Pinon Hills
Jeremiah Sizemore, 50-years-old, resident of Phelan
SUMMARY:
On Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9:46am, deputies responded to a call at a vacant property at the intersection of Buckwheat Road and Phelan Road in Pinon Hills. According to the caller, subjects were on the property without permission and had brought a camper and truck.
When deputies arrived, they located Lori Ballard and Jeremy Sizemore on the property. Deputies confirmed with the property owner that Ballard and Sizemore did not have permission to be on the property. The suspects were found in possession of a stolen 1998 Chevrolet truck. The truck was stolen out of Phelan in January 2024.
Jeremiah Sizemore and Lori Ballard were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked at High Desert Detention Center. They are being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
