Activity for August 7, 2024:
- Officer Frazier was dispatched to the 1300 block of Deyo Street for a domestic assault report. Officers were unable to locate the 59-year-old male suspect. Charges have been sought on the male for domestic assault – strangulation.
- Officer Reynaga responded to the 300 block of South Jackson Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Several JPD members attended the National Night Out event at the King Center.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near East North Street and Orange Street. The 36-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 1st offense.
- Officer Panther and Officer Tenney made contact with subjects in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 40-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Perrine Street for a disorderly subject. A 32-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Sergeant Thoresen conducted a property security check in the 500 block of North Mechanic Street.
